Just Jitters
You tried to reassure me
Air disasters trending down
It doesn’t work
My mind has quirks
Convinced it’s due
I’m grounded now
Thanks

Sugar skull painting by LostinaDream on Artfire
Had this in draft form for a few days.

after a wonderful comment she made on a previous poem,
about flight as a disorienting mode of travel.
