When I first speak in the morning
Catching, croaking, from my throat
When I swallow water wrongly
Invading sting, straight out my nose
When I walk blind into a memory
A sliding door I did not see
Surprising smacks by slapstick life
Humbling delight, this comedy

Cool! I don’t see a lot of poetry around here, but I dig this one. I don’t know poetry lingo all to well so I wont emarress myself trying to explain what I like about it, but it is very solid. I don’t write poetry or anything, but I would be honored if you could check out my page and let me know what you think
Ha!
