Unbalanced (again)
Perfect permanent balance
Does not exist
Do not wish
It is simply the midpoint
Of our own pointy pendulum
While we find our swing
To the next extreme
A talent perfected
Only in death

Beautiful!
Thank you, both for reading and for the comment. Both are encouraging and appreciated, truly. Thank you.
Loved it!!! 🙂
Thank you. I’m so glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for saying so. 🙂
You’re welcome! 🙂
April, I read this, and even before I got to the end of the piece (even after the first two lines!), I thought ‘I know where this is going!’ – not because your piece was obvious (you are never obvious, you are skin-off-the-face-honest), but because I have been on that same cushion, I have travelled on those same two feet – you have simply GOT to read this (if only to give the little bugger some company):

I do believe that “skin off the face honest” is THE best compliment I have ever received. I like to think I try to be, that I occasionally accomplish it a wonderful thing.
