My Blue Balloon
Today I found a blue balloon
Lurking languid in the yard
Bouncing low along it tormented
My large but yellowish guard dog
I carried with me red frustration
All to unleash upon said pet
But when the blue peeked out from prickles
My anger turned into green get
To save deflating bright from grey
Brown winter branches how they tried
But I was quick to reach and rescue
So I could hide blue joy inside
