Concrete Cracks

All I want
To do
These days
Is walk
And notice
Gnarly trees
With new-flesh
Leaves
And sun bleached
Signs
With only one
Word
Clearly seen:
Together
And notice
Septa trains
Speed-clicking by
And watch
My mind
Entwine
Each car
In flying flames
Like war
of worlds
And notice
I can
Balance quick
And map
My way
On concrete cracks
And Breathe
In
Floral buds
Of coming rain
And notice
That
I cannot help
But high five
Shrubs
And dance
Among
The lightening
Bugs
And notice
That I
Share
My dreams
And darker things
With crows
On wing
And mad spring
Rabbits
All I want
To do
These days
Is walk
And map
And balance
Quick
As concrete cracks
